How do you tie a scarf so it covers your face?

Feb 11, 2010 | Face Scarf

It’s supposed to blizzard and I don’t want my face to freeze off. I want it to fit over my nose and don’t want it to fall down even in teh wind. I don’t care if it looks fashionable I just want to enjoy the weather lol
oh yeah it’s not for skiing i just thought people here would know

When I see people wearing scarves, they are not tied on. Most of the people place the middle of the scarf over their nose and mouth and then wrap the loose ends around their neck and back under their chin. Then then zip up their coat over the loose ends to keep them from blowing around.

However, this is just a temporary fix as the scarf will quickly collect moisture from your breath and get cold. If you are going to be spending any significant amount of time outdoors, I would suggest a neoprene face mask or some type of balaclava (ski mask).
